After watching shows on TV like “Rock the Reception,” I decided I wanted to have a choreographed first dance at our wedding reception. The only problem was, neither myself, nor my husband know how to dance, AT ALL. That was not a deterant for Sarah. She could not have been more patient with us. She gave us song options and put together dance steps that were easy enough for us to learn, but still look great. She even changed some steps when she realized we were having trouble getting them down. Sarah did a great job at making us feel comfortable with her fun and positive attitude. Having a choreographed first dance is probably the last thing Matt or I could ever picture doing, but we are thrilled that we took the time to do it. It felt so great to hear the cheers of our family and friends when we started dancing, and it is all thanks to Sarah. I will be telling all of my friends about Sarah and A Dance to Remember.

Our first dance at our wedding was the highlight of the reception. Sarah is a fabulous dancer and teacher. My husband was resistant to the idea of lessons and after the first- he was a convert! Sarah is patient and fun. She makes dancing look so easy. All of our guests complimented us and we were very confident after our experience with a dance 2 remember- iand it was a dance to remember! I plan to give a gift of lessons to my sister when she gets married next year!

Sal and I met and fell in love through match.com in January 2005. We married Aug 16, 2008 and started our reception with a dance choreographed by Sarah Westerberg. Planning the wedding was complicated and “the first dance” didn't occur to us until the last minute. Then we called Sarah + told her we wanted her to choreograph an original dance, teach us and make us look like pros….all in 3 weeks. "...Yeah, 3 weeks, you heard right...” We thought she had hung up. But Sarah Westerberg was only checking her schedule – her next remark was. “Sure! You guys free tomorrow?” Sarah brought her infectious energy, enthusiasm and skilled preparation to every rehearsal. She quickly sized up our ability and choreographed a unique, varied and contemporary dance to fit our style, program and schedule. She even considered our clothing in determining the complexity of the steps… Sarah’s dance abilities and experiences are wide ranging - so she can offer everything in choreography from waltz and tango to hip hop and probably even the polka. (?) Look around on Utube and compare what you see. We did. We think you’ll agree that the best “First Dances” are Sarah’s Westerberg’s. Sarah is the best dance teacher we have ever had, she was an execellent dancer, fun, understanding and flexible. Before we found Sarah, we searched everywhere in our area to find someone who can choreograph a dance routine to our song that would be both exciting for our guests and fun for us to perform at the wedding, we were so grateful we found Sarah. Our guests had a great time and we enjoyed our performance! Definitely a dance we will remember forever!

Sarah is wonderful. I explained to her how my husband didn't like the idea of taking a lesson and how we needed to learn everything in an hour. She was more then willing to accommodate us and made up a dance to our song. By the end of the lesson my husband was having a great time and taking charge teaching me! Sarah gave us different options and made us feel so comfortable with making mistakes. I have recommended her to friends because she is really a fantastic dancer and teacher.
